BleachMag

BleachMag

Magnesium hydroxide based suspension
for pulp bleaching.

image

The main applications of BleachMag® are in the pulping process and pulp bleaching.

BleachMag® acts as an alkali, a stabilizer of hydrogen peroxide and a protector of cellulose in chlorine-free bleaching of cellulose fiber.

Also, it completely replaces magnesium sulfate in oxygen delignification of cellulose.

BleachMag® acts as a cooking base in the sulphite and bisulphite pulping process. Due to its lower molecular weight compared with alkalis on the market, BleachMag® reduces the alkali consumption per ton of pulp produced.

BleachMag® is produced in the form of a suspension and as a powder. The powders and suspension have a median (D50) particle size 5,5 µm. BleachMag® is produced from the highest quality brucite ore with a low iron content.
